Method of use:

1. Store the stick in the freezer of your refrigerator or in a stand-alone freezer, with the head turned up. The minimum cooling time is 2 hours.
2. Before each application, lubricate the stick with a lubricant to facilitate insertion of the applicator into the anus.
3. Apply the stick rectally while lying on your side. The depth of application is determined by the stop. The application time should be 8-10min.
4. After the specified time, remove the stick, wash under warm running soapy water, dry, wipe with disinfectant, and place back in the freezer.

Criorectum is made of high-quality plastic approved for medical use. The stick is filled with a special substance that accumulates low temperature. It can be subjected to repeated freezing and thawing.

2. WHEN TO USE CRIORECTUM?

Criorectum can be used if you are experiencing pain, swelling, bleeding, itching, in painful fissures of the skin around the anus, anal fissures, after anal surgeries. Using the stick poses no risk to pregnant and lactating women or those with allergies.

3. HOW OFTEN SHOULD I USE CRIORECTUM?

If you are experiencing intense symptoms, such as itching, swelling, burning, or bleeding, Criorectum should be used at least twice a day, consistently for 2-3 weeks. Once any signs of disease have subsided, it is recommended to use the stick as a prevention, once a week.

6. HOW LONG SHOULD I USE CRIORECTUM BEFORE I FEEL THE FIRST EFFECTS?

The first effects are usually visible after the first application. Essential improvement should occur after 14 days of treatment. This period is the required minimum application time for the stick. The maximum duration of use depends on the severity of the hemorrhoidal or other anal disease, as well as on each individual's factors.

In case of very advanced disease and troublesome symptoms, the application time may be prolonged. It is then recommended to use two sticks, applied one after the other. After completing the treatment, CRIORECTUM should be used as a prevention at least once a week.

7. HOW LONG SHOULD THE CRIORECTUM BE IN THE REFRIGERATOR BEFORE USE?

CRIORECTUM should be in the refrigerator at least 2 hours before application.

8. HOW TO STORE AND CARE FOR CRIORECTUM?

The most convenient way to use CRIORECTUM Cryotherapy Stick, is to store it permanently in the freezer of your refrigerator or freestanding freezer and take it out only at the time of application. CRIORECTUM should be stored in the provided sealed container. After each application, wash the stick under warm running water using soap. Additionally, the stick can be disinfected. NEVER STERILIZE THE STICK USING HIGH HEAT OR BOILING WATER.

9. WHAT IS INSIDE THE CRIORECTUM?

The substance inside the stick has no medical (treatment) role. It is not dangerous, toxic or harmful. It is a special agent used to transmit cold. DO NOT OPEN CRIORECTUM. THIS CAN CAUSE PERMANENT DAMAGE TO THE STICK.

10. DOES IT HURT TO APPLY THE CRYOTHERAPY STICK?

It is possible to feel discomfort during the first applications of CRIORECTUM. This sensation gradually subsides over the course of the treatment.

11. WHAT IS THE EXPIRATION DATE FOR CRIORECTUM?

CRIORECTUM stick not used at all, can be stored for a max. of 2 years (in home first aid kit). Repeated cyclic freezing and thawing processes cause CRIORECTUM to lose its ability to retain cold. It is therefore recommended to replace the stick every 6 months (from the date of first freezing).
